This is a vintage Sputnik style chandelier. The chandelier takes 10 bulbs total; it has 10 fixtures that illuminate 50 chrome arms tipped with lucite orbs. This lighting effect combines to give the overall image of a ball of light or an object floating in space, hence the name `Sputnik`. These lamps were hallmarks of the space-age modern era and this piece would make a beautiful addition to any modern room.
