Karl-Erik Ekselius (1914-1998) was trained as a cabinet maker and was a student of Carl Malmsten. His designs are invested in modern Danish design of the time yet also show traits of international modernism.

Stunning set of Danish modern teak and cane chairs by Karl-Erik Ekselius for J.O. Carlsson of Denmark, circa 1950s. The chairs have been professionally refinished and feature a solid teak frame with woven cane back.
