This secretary is made of a dense rosewood. It's splendidly carved all over. It has 5 pull out drawers. and a drop front. The drop front opens up to create a secretary for an at home office. It has lots of storage for letters, pens and stationary. When the drop front opens brackets extend that fully support the writing surface. The drawers, as well as, the panels are all finely carved.
