Vintage mid century rosewood bookcase / wall unit by Poul Hundevad for Aerthoj Jensen and Molholm Herning Top unit has four green felt-lined covered by a drop desk, open shelves; there are six smaller shelves inside two doors storage area. Bottom unit has two sliding door cabinet on the left and four drawers on the right. Made in Denmark

Aerthoj Jensen and Molholm Herning

 Poul Buch Hundevad (11, March 1917 – 4, July 2011) was a Danish furniture designer. Hundevad was a trained carpenter and had for some years own cabinetmaker`s workshop and furniture factory in Vamdrup. He was best known for Guldhøj chair – a folding chair based on findings of a chair from the early Bronze Age. Hundevad measured chair, simplified style and put it in new production in 1960 in four types of wood with seat in light and black leather. It was a success and many copies were exported abroad. It is produced in more than 15,000 copies and is still made. He has also produced many other wooden furniture, for example, in 1950 a square dining table (with Kai Winding), a round dining table with chairs (1958, chairs model 30), chests of drawers and an armchair in teak, a tray table (ca . 1962) and shelf systems. Hundevads furniture was sold through sales cooperation Domus Danica.
